EXHIBITION "TWOFOLD"
Twofold presents a photographic exploration of the controversial development of the Oder River. In deliberately paired black-and-white and color photographs, “beautiful” and “harsh” motifs are set in contrast, revealing how technical interventions reshape a protected river landscape. The work is clear, factual, and invites viewers to pause and reflect.
The ongoing changes along the Oder have been observed and documented over many years — capturing nature, conflict, and the traces left by human impact.
Additionally, the exhibition included street photography by Hendrik “Henni” Büttner, adding another perspective to the twofold concept.
